A few dedicated Sisters formed Masjid Al’Mu-mineen ladies group in 1996.  The handful of dedicated Sister has since grown to 9 Board members, 7 Executive members and 4 Honoree members.  Our Sisters Group always extends an embrace of friendship, and welcoming new members

     The Sister’s Group has worked hard to raise funds for our Building Project.  Our first Bake Sale was successful as we raised $3,000. Since then we have had Drive-Thru BBQ's, Monthly Breakfast on Sunday Mornings, Candy Sale, Bus Trips all of which has raised $20,000 in the past year. We will continue our drive to show our support for the Masjid.

   Our Board and Executive Committee meet on a monthly basis to discuss upcoming activities, events, outreach and acquire some Islamic Knowledge. The Sisters and with the help of the Brothers have dedicated the last Sunday in the month as our designated Fundraiser Day. Where, members are able to contribute a dish or a meal for sale. All proceeds raised goes towards our Masjid Building Fund.

    The Ladies Group has established A Sisters Islamic Class on Friday between Magrib and Isha.  A Girls Youth Group was created to help bridge our youths with teamwork, develop leadership skills strengthen Islamic etiquette and encourage friendships.  This groups meets weekly on Friday at 7:00pm. 

    Students are eager to learn the Arabic Language meet on Wednesday some have moved onto Tajweed and are succeeding. Masjid Al’Mu-mineen Ladies Group’s Goal is to raise Friendships, Community Awareness, Outreach and Knowledge for the love of Allah. Our Sister’s Group welcomes new members and looks forward to seeing you at MJAM.
